One Month Today

Happy One Month Anniversary to me and Matty. Well today embarks our one month wedding anniversary...and it's raining. No we aren't doing anything special, it's just one month. When I look back now, it hasn't gone too fast but kind of slow...which it's a bad thing just an observation.

Work is going very well, and I'm finally happy with the Job that I have, I really am this time. I love all my 20kids, (no cimmy and Rhubarb larva Barb they aren't my own) Ha little inside joke. Well I call them my own kids because I treat them as if they were mine. And even though they get on my nerves and drive me nuts I still wouldn't trade my job for anything. But right now at work we are getting ready for CHRISTMAS, oh man I can't wait to decorate the class room and do Christmas crafts and sing Christmas songs. Fun fun triple fun. But all in all life is great, can't complain...well I could but I don't want to.

Our Apartment is kind of decorated like christmas, we have my little christmas tree up now and our stockings and I am going to get more things from the dollar store...some day.

Do you know what else is coming up in exactly 10 days?!? Nope it's not Christmas, nope it's not your birthday... IT'S MINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will 23 in 10days, how fun is that. I think it's totally fun. My mom said she is going to take me shopping for a nice shirt, because all I have is t-shirts and I don't have anything that is nice for church or family gatherings. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO yeah new shirts.

My family and I aren't going gifts again this year, which is fine with me because I have everything I need and so does my family, but we still do stocking stuffers which I love, because I get little things like nail file for my purse, soap, nail polish, fun socks, and so on. And most importantly CHOCOLATE!!! Yummy.

Well that should be all for now, going to go spend sometime with my husband before he leaves for work, and I go back for my 2nd shift.

First blog as a MRS

WOW it's been a while since I've blogged. Well life's been busy. I've been married or 3 weeks and it’s good. I can't believe how fast I got use to living with Matt and having him sleep beside me every night. It's really great. So married life is good. Of course not perfect, the apartment is coming along nicely. I still have some boxes to unpack, which goes all in the spare bedroom/office, and that's about it.

I loved our wedding. Before the wedding I though ICK what a small wedding but, as the day went on I love it how small out wedding was. I got to talk to ALL my guests with out being rushed and it was the best. Nothing I would change. Especially the day of the wedding, everything went smoothly, I was early to church, and we even had time in between pictures and the hall, we had time to go to Tim Horton’s and get a coffee which was great seeing ppl reactions when I walked in. We have a website up, nothing special just of wedding pic's but I don't know what it is and I think I have to forward it through e-mail only, so I will get that to ppl asap.

Married life is good, still new but it's good. It's great because Matt loves to cook and I love to clean so it's a great thing we got going on. I don't get home from work till 6:15 and either he isn't working or he gets home before me so supper is ready and I just think it’s the greatest thing. I married and man that loves to cook...ha it doesn't get any better then that.

So for only been married for 3 weeks it seems a lot longer. Not because it's horrible but it just seems we've been married longer. Calli (our kitty) is the best; I don't know what I would do with out an animal around. Going from dog to nothing would have been hard but glad we got a kitty before we got married. She's just brat BUT she's the best.

3 days

Well people just 3 days to go and I am getting more excited. I just got back from the dentist and I told them I was getting married so after the filled 2 cavities and capped one tooth cause it was chipped they polished my teeth. So they are nice and clean for the wedding.

This are going to hectic tomorrow, picking my aunt up at the airport at 6:05 am, then I have to pick up Katie (she is one of my Bridesmaids) at the bus station in Niagara Falls then go back to the airport but in Hamilton not T.O., to pick up my cousin. CRAZY.

But I am going to try and eat something with this frozen face of mine.

7 days just ONE WEEK!!!

Well people it's almost here and it's really just around the corner. And I'm very excited. I just have to work 2 days next week and that's it. My family has been helping me out so much and it's so great. Cause I couldn't imagine not having my family help me out. I'd be so stressed I'd be a bag and a half.

Anywho going to the apartment to clean it and get the rest of my things in there.

The wedding is coming closer and there are lots to do but no until like the day before the wedding. Well actually I am doing as much as I can do now so it's less to do later on. Mom has been helping me pack my things and we are going to the apartment sometime to clean it and move more of my things.

Somethings haven't turned out the way I wanted to but they still worked out. So can't complaine.

But next week is already getting busy. Glad that I only work till the 25th and don't have back till Nov 7th.

2 weeks

2 weeks from today I will be getting married. Matt and I have been busy every night this week with wedding stuff. It's crazy but nice that things are getting done. The next week won't be so busy, but the week before will be. My Aunt Wilma from BC is coming (she is my mom's sister) and then her daughter Margaret is coming also so we are making 2 trips to the airport and I am soooooooooooooo excited. Today I am baking for the wedding with my Cousins Barb and Cindy and my mom and Marlene (sister)

But better go because they should be here soon and I have to go with Marlene to go see her bridesmaid dress and bake.

*~*~*~*~*IT'S WEDDING MONTH*~*~*~*~*

Well its official it's wedding month. In 28 days I will be getting married. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK. I am so excited I can't wait.

Last night my mom sisters Brenda and Marlene hosted my first Bridal shower. It was fun it's all a big blur though because it really sunk in that I'm getting married and I'm getting really giddy it's the best. My shower last night was just family and some really close friends that I've know my whole life. But It was fun. And thanks for everyone who came and gave gifts it was really nice. I just finished my "thank you" cards for the people that were at my shower and they are all ready to be mailed on Monday.

Quick Up Date

Friday my good friend Becky got married. We've been friends since the 3rd grade and I still cannot believe my little Becky is married. Crazy. She is also going to be living (once Matt and I are married) close to us. SO close that I can walk to her house. I'm totally excited about that.

Saturday, Matty and I went to Wonderland and had a BLAST. It was nice just to be with him all day and talk non stop, and not about the wedding. It felt like we were humans again and not weddingzillas. Also weird but I saw Travis (from KLBC) and Rachel Brooks. That was cool. I talked to her for about 5 mins and then we carried on. But we are going to get together once Matt and I are married.

Sunday, today, I went to church with mom and dad and met up with my friends again. Oh, ha, me and my good ol friends from WAY back, we are going line dancing on wed. It's free so why not. I'm soooooooooooo excited.

Wedding, Work, Hair... OH MY!!!!

Wow...well its 38 days till the wedding and I still need a ton more RSVP cards. Annoying you ask? Yes but they all should be coming shortly. I cannot believe the wedding is coming closer and closer and I'm getting more and more excited. My mom finally found a dress for the wedding and it looks great. My cousin's Barb and Cindy are coming over tonight to make bows for the church. Ahhh they are the best cousin. Those girls are always willing to help and give it there all. Even for the wedding so far they've been a great help. Thanks grils love ya lots.

My hair is brown now for the wedding. I was going to get it done somewhere and realized I do NOT want to pay like $70 to get my hair colored when I know I can do it myself. So now I'm a brunette which feels good because I was a blond all summer long.

Well I LOVE my new job. These kids that that "teach" morning and afternoon really make my day. I love this job. Even though there isn't a lot of hours that I have, but this I am living out a life long dream of working at a daycare.

New Job

Tomorrow at 7:45 am I start me new job at St.John school in Beamsville. I'm really excited despite the fact that I have the most horrible cold. It must be lack of sleep and wedding stress. This is weird because I haven’t been stressing...well maybe a little but nothing to lose sleep over but whatever.

Matty-watty leave for 4 days to go to camp with one of the clients from Bethesda(sp) homes. I'm gonna miss him but at least it's not longer then 4 days.

But off to get some need rest.

Meet Calli

Say hello to Calli. She is the newest addition to our relationship. She is fun, full of energy and a brat but do I do love her so much. She is so much fun to be with. We've had her for about 3 weeks now; it’s been nothing but a joy to have her around. Matty loves her and she love Matty. They are like 2 peas in a pod. It's so cute. So there now that you've met the newest addition our family I can carry on about the wedding :0)

So the wedding...well its next month. 55 days away and I am so excited I sometimes have a hard time containing myself. I know that these next 55 days are going to be stressful and emotional. I am going to miss living at home but mom and dad will only be 20 mins away so I can't complain there I know. So wedding preparations are happening more and more and everything is turning out great and getting done. The invitations are sent out so they should arrive during the week of sept 6-9. So RSVP right away. My wedding dress (which I’ve tried on 2 times since getting on Friday) is sitting in my parent’s closet. Since losing 15lbs it needs some alterations. Not too much which is great but it does need some so that it fits better. I have to call the seamstress on tues, don't worry ladies I have one lined up and she is just waiting for me to call her and make an appointment. Then my wedding dress needs to get pressed and then not wear it till the wedding...ACK who am I kidding man if I had it my I'd sleep in my wedding dress. :0) hehehe. But all in all, the wedding preparations are coming along great.

Keeping in the theme of great news, my sister Brenda who also is a bridesmaid in my wedding is pregnant with #3. eeekkkkk baby #3 is on the way. She isn't due till March but she will be 4 months at my wedding. But I am thrilled that I am going to be an auntie again. I mean Haden and Garrett are the best nephews, but one more is going to be even better. Once I get to meet this little on in March is so going to make me want one of my own. I know that can wait a few years.

2 months today

As the title says its 2 months today. 2 MONTHS crazy it's going so fast I can't even believe it sometimes. I mean, I really like that but all of a sudden all these wedding plans are coming at me at once. But I have to just keep reminding myself not to stress because it will all get done. We finished our invitations and will be sending them out tomorrow or wed. And you (who ever is reading this) need to R.S.V.P. before Sept 23. So send them asap. Thanks :0)

Well its final, my Molly Maid job is coming to an end and I start me new daycare job, working with School aged children at St. John's school in Beamsville. I am totally excited plus I get benefits and free yes that's right FREE membership to the YMCA (that is who I am working for the YMCA daycare) and also Matt gets one too. Sweet eh? I know I'm so blessed. This job is like a long lost repeated prayer to work with children again, and it's been finally answered.

So I took today and tomorrow (tues) off of work, because today I had orientation from 9:30-Noon and tomorrow I took off b/c wedding things need to be done. I even have a list which all needs to be done tomorrow so it's going to be another busy day. And Matty had tomorrow off too. Finally. He's been working like 7-8 days in a row has a day off then works another 7-8 days in row. So I don't see him to much and since we need to get wedding things accomplished tomorrow is the perfect day to do so.

My wedding dress arrives Sept 10, which I am totally excited about and then it needs to go for some major alterations because I've lost a little over 15lbs and when I bought my wedding dress it fit great with a little of alterations on the straps. So it is going to interesting how much work needs to be done on my wedding dress.

But that is all for now been gone all day, and now waiting for Matty to come over after he's done work at 7.

So I get to our apartment here and talking to Matt and he said "oh YMCA daycare called" I was like bboouuuwwwaaaahhhh? So I called her back and I have a job interview on Tuesday. Crazy but Matty and I have been praying for a job opportunity like this, for me and well I don't have the job but hey I have an interview and I just faxed it this morning. CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I am going to miss working for Molly Maid and all the ppl but hey can't be there for ever.

Chow for now going to go hang out with Matty haven't seen him since Sunday.

Life and Stuff

Soooooooooo alot has happened since the last time I've posted. Matt finally moved into our apartment and it's still a little bare it has our bed, and kitchen table and chairs, love seat and couch, BUT it justs needs a little Mare touch. Some pic's and some cool area rugs because we have all hardwood floors. I am getting really excited cause it's all starting to come to reality that in 77 days I will be a married woman... weird but wonderful. I am so amazed at how God has blessed us in planning this wedding and preparing to be husband and wife. *sigh* I cannot wait to be married and some day start a family of our own. The family part will have to wait for a while I do want to get to know Matt as my husband and then start a family.

Matt and I have been really busy with work. Sometimes our we don't see alot of each other and that sucks but I'm sure I've said this already on my blog... moving along.

Today I went to mall with mom and dad. I bought some fabric to make some pillows which are already done and I can stuff them tomorrow after church. Also I've been doing something to prepare for sending out our invitations. We are going to print them out tomorrow and then wait for ppl to e-mail me back so I know I have the right home address. So far I've had quite a few ppl respond back which is wonderful and thank you for that.

Well this weekend is almost over and that blows because another week of work is about to being and I so do not want to go to work. But for now I should go to bed and sleep b/c tomorrow is Sunday and that means church which means happy because I love our new church.

Amazing

So lots of great things have been happening to Matthew and me. We finally have our apartment. He went and picked up the key today and signed some papers. I finally got to see our apartment but only through pictures but it looks really nice. All hard wood floors, 2 bedroom, and in all inclusive. Sweet deal eh? The Lord sure does proved. So now we can go back to sears and actually put in our colors and add things to our registry. eeekkkk.

Work has been blah and I've been looking for something else. Matt and I have been praying that something better comes along. So keep praying.

But in other great exciting awesome news. My cousin Margaret from out west is coming to my wedding. I haven't seen her in 5 almost 6 years and I am so thrilled and happy I don't know if I will sleep tonight. I was talking to her on msn last night and she was looking at flights and she said she would let me know in 2 weeks. So I was praying that she would be able to come and this morning at 6:15 I checked my mail and there was an e-mail from Margaret saying she booked the flight and she's coming to the wedding. Also her flight arrives on the 27 and 12:15 am, so really in the 28th but her plane lands in Hamilton which is WAY better then T.O. So I am really happy that she is coming I cannot wait to see her. Also Katie is back from Texas and glad she arrived and came home safe. I miss her and need to catch up wiht her. I miss her so.

Well that is all for now Matt is working from 3-9 and I miss him. I haven't seen him much because our schedules right now have been conflicting which is poopy. But Congrats to Drew on getting engaged. How exciting.

So here is the good news. Matt and I finally found an apartment in Welland. I am so happy and thrilled I cannot explain. He gets to move into it on Aug 3rd. Anywho this week has gone by fast BUT not complaining cause this August long weekend I'm meeting my family for camping. They've been up there since July 22 and I usually go for the full 10 days but I'm working. Oh well at least I get to go this weekend. :0)

WHOO HOO 2 digit Zone

Well today embarks that my wedding day is getting closer. We are offical out of the 3 digit zone and onto the 2 digit zone. 99 days today. I'm sick I have strep throat...poo.

I cannot believe that it's Thursday and the weekend is almost gone. I don't know about anyone else but it's going by really really fast. Anywho the faster it goes the fast my wedding will arrive. Still in the 3 digits zone but not for long :0)

About this heat... I love it. I don't know if I am crazy but I go like this weather. Sometimes it can be really over whelming but I prefer this over cold snowy weather.

On the stressful side. We still do not have an apartment and Matt has to be out of his apartment by August 1. Do you see a problem? Yeah so do I. I'm just getting all annoyed. Matt has been working LOTS of hours. And within the next 2 weeks he will be working 92 hours. CRAZY I mean it's great an all but we really need a place to live and I am getting really discourage. Could who ever reads this please pray with us so that we can find a place to live.

Going to go read and clear my head.
