11 weeks

This is what my baby is doing at 11 weeks.

Maybe you’ve noticed… your child is a stupendous grower! They will be gaining a substantial amount of weight this week, and have already achieved fruit-size-status comparable to a plum. Your little scientist is already starting to explore their body, focusing most intently on touching their head, and especially their face and mouth. The mouth in particular will provide them with hours of entertainment. This happens not only because your baby is gaining coordination, and is therefore able to move a hand on command, but also because their palms have gained sensation and can actually “feel” what it touches.They're also developing their swallow refllex this week. And lastly, your baby's smelling and other olfactory senses begin developing this week, which when combined with the maturing taste buds, will provide your baby with their first experiences of taste and smell.

Pretty cool eh? I'm not showing yet, but my lower stomach is getting tighter and harder to just bend over I need to go throw my legs now. I still have morning sickness...well it's actually all day sickness throwing up morning and night...which sucks, lost weight cause I've been so sick. But I found this artical on one of my pregancy web site. It's pretty funny. I totaly understand what this lady is going threw.

"Some women are lucky; they don’t get morning sickness. There are some that have a little less luck; they get some morning sickness. Then there are the rest of us, the women with weeks of nonstop vomiting.

All that nonstop vomiting has a name: Hyperemesis. I have a feeling that hyperemesis is Latin for “Poor woman that vomits everything in sight.”

Since hyperemesis isn’t that well known, most people tend to ask questions such as “have you tried crackers?” or “I hear that ginger works.”

For many women, the only thing that works is having an 8-pound baby shoot out of her crotch

I know that people are trying to be helpful, but it is really hard not to go postal on someone offering “advice,” especially if you spent the night before in the emergency room, getting IV fluids for dehydration.

I can’t tell you how many times I wanted to say “Crackers? Really? That’s all it takes? Eating a few stinking crackers? I’ve been vomiting for five months straight and all I needed to do was eat a stinking cracker?”

Anywho I hope I be feeling better soon and eat food again and non of this dry ass food. I want to eat pizza or chicken again. But I guess I have to take it one day at a time.

Moved

Making this quite b/c I am at work with a room full of kids. We are all moved in and the place looks great. Just unpacking and getting things in order again. I will post pictures once the place is looking normal and no boxes around. Calli is getting used to the place already, so that's great. Anywho that is all for now just letting you know we moved in and it's great.

So we are out of our welland apartment here at my parents house for the night and moving into our new apartment tomorrow. I can't wait. Its so much bigger and better and close to where we are both working. So close i'm gonna bike and walk to work. So we are all pretty tierd right now. But tomorrow is a new day and going to be soon, i will be up and ready to move into our new home. Thanks Barb, Cindy, mom and dad for helping us move today.

If you would like to know out new address I will e-mail it out as soon as we have internet again...which won't be for 5 days...crap-ola...oh well glad I can come to mom and dad's for internet. Once we are settled and everything in place I will post pics of our new aparment. Aight off to sleepy land I go.

Stuff and Life

So the Ohio trip was a blast. I had so much fun and it was so nice to see my mom and dad again. They are FINALLY coming home friday I can't wait. If you wanna see some pics of the Ohio trip then you should look on my msn space, and if I'm not on your msn, well sucks to be you doesn't it. HA

So our honeymoon is coming up. I can't wait. Here is a pic of the cruise we are going on and a view of where we are staying once in Dinsey World.

Other then a $600 bill for getting the sunfire fixed, Life is great. Being back at the Y is so amazing and I can't believe how much I've missed the kids. I can't imgaine not working there.

Hmm. OH we are moving in 3 weeks. I can't wait. Gotta get me a helmet and a lock for my bike. I think that is all for now. Kind of tired, since getting up at 6am and playing with kids all day, kind of makes me sleepy. I will be really nice once living close to where I work.

10 months, honeymoon, OHIO, back to the YMCA

So summer has come and gone so fast. But I had the best summer with Rebecca. We did lots together and she is so much fun to be with. I forgot how fun it was to be a kid again, but she's a pretty great 8 year old. I go back to the YMCA Sept 5th, can't wait. My shifts are 7:30-9:15 and then 2:30-5:15. What do I do in between those 2 shifts you might ask? Clean houses. I have 2 so far, Thurs and Fridays. And the other 3 days I keep busy with planning my week for childcare, and packing since we are moving Oct 1....er, did I not mention that? Hehehe whoops. Yes Matt and I are moving to Grimsby Oct 1. To a wonderful 1,000 sq ft basement apartment. All open space... it's an amazing apartment, and BIG, and a really good price. Couldn't have asked for a better apartment. So close that I can bike to work, and Matt only has a 10 min drive if that. We are both really excited.

I found out where we are going on our honeymoon. Matt's been planning this honeymoon for almost 2 years and I figured it out...thanks to one of the teachers at my work, (I stopped by my work on Tues) and she had mentioned something about a Disney Cruise. WELL, we are going on a 4 nights 5 days Disney Cruise and then we make a stop to go to Disney World. Eeeekkkk I cannot wait. We are going Jan 9-18, 2007. I am so happy we didn't go on our original honeymoon right after the wedding but waiting a little over a year and then went. This honeymoon is going to be amazing. 10 day honeymoon, only 129 more days till the wonderful vacation. I still cannot believe he planned this all on his own, he's so great.

Hmmm what else???? OH I am going to OHIO this weekend with Barb and Cindy and Marlene. Dad has been working there all summer so mom goes with dad and they take the trailer. So we are going there to visit them. ROAD TRIP. Us 4 grills are leaving early Saturday morning and coming back Monday night. I will definitely have pics of the trip once I get back, which reminders me, I better go charge the batteries in the camera.

We've been married for 10 months. It's been going by so fast it's retarded. Fun, but so fast. WOW I think I am finally out of words... didn't think that was possible. Ha!

LESAGE (Windhorst) Alice The Lord took Alice to himself on Sunday afternoon August 20, 2006 at 76 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Jake Lesage and the late Gerrit Windhorst; dear mother of Dirk and Gerri Windhorst, Marion and Ron Bergshoeff, Caroline and John Werkhoven, Susan Dykxhoorn and LeeAnn Bennett; stepchildren Ted and Diane Lesage, Roger and Lucy Lesage, Jasper and Phyllis Lesage, Frank and Bertha Lesage, Dieni and Henry Gerryts, Wilma and Whitney Numan. Loving Oma to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survived by five sisters and one brother. The family will receive friends at Trinity Orthodox Reformed Church, 99 Scott Street on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in the church on Thursday, August 24, 2006 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations will be greatly received by the Arthritis Society of Canada. My Grandma Lesage passed away in the hospital this afternoon. Man all this death crap sucks. First my Uncle Bill is May now, my Grandma. But she was ready to go to heaven. She's been sick on and off for a quite a few years. So some comfort knowing that she wanted to go and be with Jesus. It's just sucks.

Hello everyone, who may or maynot read this....

Our computer decided to dye on us. Matt knows what's wrong with it, so it's just the matter of getting it fixed...SOON. Because I am not liking this no internet hoopla. So if you don't hear from me don't panic and think that I feel off the side of the earth, i just don't have a computer. I am at work now doing this....shhhh..j/k.

Accident

So while camping my brother Chris calls my dad's cell and leavs a message letting us know that he was in an accident. He's ok wansn't his fault. He was turning left into a gas sation on Hwy 20 and some lady re-end Chris. She was going 80km and rammed right into my brother's car. Aparently she wanted to go threw him not around. Here are some pic's below of the damage. His car is totaled and isn't driveable. Chris has whiplash and let just pray that nothing else goes wrong down the road. Also pray that nothing will go wrong with the insurence company and all goes well for my brother Chris. love ya bro

TOMORROW TOMORROW TOMORROW...

That's right this time tomorrow I will be officially at Port Burwell Provical Park. Away from computers, tv, and all other hydro like things. I cannot wait. I absolutely love camping. (I will be gone from July 28- Aug 7). Especially now since my mom and dad bought a 2007 32' Trailer. This is one fine trailer people. I definitely be taking pics of the trailer and post them later tonight when I am at mom and dad's dropping off my sister Marlene. Just thinking about this massiveness of a trailer makes me drool.

So far I've been packing, clothes and more clothes. The sad thing about leaving for 10 days, Matt isn't coming with me :0( He just got a full time job, (at another house) so we figure it wouldn't be a good idea to just not take holidays. But there is a silver lining to this, he will be coming up the last weekend, so Aug 5-6. He tried to get someone to take his Friday shift but it's Aug long weekend so no luck there, but at least he's coming up. But we thought since I already have 2 weeks of b/c the people that I am a nanny for are gone, for there holidays, we both decided that I should go camping rather then staying here bored while everyone else is gone. Matt won't be here much cause he's working fulltime, so I am glad that I'm actually having a holiday.

Just cleaned the apartment. So I hope when I come back home it will be clean still, *crossing fingers* It probably will be since Matt works 3-11 for 7-3, so I'm sure he will keep it clean

Well I think I am out of words... WOW that's a first. It's starting to thunder and lighting out... don't really like thunderstorms, but glad Matty is here (his day off).

Brenda and the boys and Faith came down monday to tuesday. It was nice to see them. There are some pic's below of Faith in my parents 'cool tub'. She's so cute and sweet, I just wanna kiss those checks all the time.

Well 9 more days still I am off camping for a much needed vacation. I can't wait. Friday is my last day for 2 weeks. The people that I'm baby sitting for are leaving out east for 2 weeks and it's the same time I'm going camping. I can't wait. Only 8 more sleeps ladies.

Toby Has Finally Been Saved!!!!!

Remember when I posted a web site about a cute bunny named "Toby"? It was a while back... well I just went there now and this dude didn't eat the bunny. But I know that it was just a scame so he could have the money. It's funny to read what these people wrote though. But the even funnier stuff is that theses stupid people actually fell for this and gave the guy money. Oh man stupid people make me laugh.

YMCA

Yesterday was the last day of day care ( I go back come sept). I am really going to miss all those kids this summer. I had a blast, I learned so much there. I've been working with kids since I was 14 so for almost 9 years and in all those years, I learned quite a bit but working for the YMCA I've learned that much more. I had a blast working with my co-workers ( even though one might be leaving..stephine...don't) the kids, I can't even explain how much those children mean to me. I've become attached to all the children there and even the parents I 've really grown to respect and love. It's amazing and sometimes over whelming knowing that this is where God wants me to be and that I've found my knack in life at a young age. I feel really blessed. *sigh*

Aight, so this summer i am baby sitting a girl, i start at 11am-5 or 6 pm. I drive for 40 mins but i am totally excited about baby sitting her. We are going to go shopping, swimming, biking and the best of all we are going to build a bear. ohhh we are both so excited. This girl is 8, and so much fun to be with. I start Tuesday so I have a few days off which is nice.

Today I was at work cleaning, up the daycare, everything needs to be disinfected and put away for the summer, so i cleaned for 7 hours ( got paid though so all good) . I am physically exhausted. We had to take all the chairs and table and sensory bin and art easel and anything else you can think of we disinfected and put out into the hall ways of the school, so the room can cleaned and our rugs steamed.... i can't wait come Sept to put the class room back together and start fresh.... I'm so looking forward to going back to work Sept 5th.

so now what do I do for the next 4 days, clean my apartment, do some laundry and sleep sleep sleep. so nice not having to get up at 6:30 every morning.

but now i am off to chilax on the couch with Matty.
