Surpise Baby Shower

On Sat March 3, 2007 my 2 sisters and my mom throw me a surprise baby shower. I was floored... it was amazing and I couldn't have asked for a better baby shower. There was over 30 people there family and friends and I got a lot of stuff. We still need a few things but I am so grateful for what we got. Here are some pics of the me opening some gifts... now you all can see how large I've become. :)

So that was my great baby shower. March 9 is my last day of work. As sad as it will be, and I will miss all the kids at my daycare, I am really looking forward to this next chapter of my life with Matt. I'm getting excited to meet these little babies and hold them and love them and see what they look like. Oh and for those who don't know they are identical twins. hehe

Kaed Rhys Siemans

Yesterday at 1:45 Calgary time my Cousin and her husband, (Hilda and Travis) became parents to a little boy, Kaed Rhys 7lbs 1oz 20.5 inches. Mom and baby are doing great. Here are some pics.

So I was going through our honeymoon/1 year anniversary/trip before babies come pictures and I came across this pic.

I absolutely love this pic of Matt. We went on the tea cup ride at Disney World and Matt's laughing and I just think he look so cute. love you hun!

But aside from this pic Matt's been a great hubby while me being pregnant. He does so much for me, I don't even know where to begin. That's how great he's been . He's been amazing and I know he's going to be an amazing dad too. Love you dude.

25 weeks

Here it is my posse, my 6 month belly shot. Everything is going well with the babies and me. Lots of movement and kicking and hips are really sore and not getting much sleep at night cause of the sore hips, but other then that it's great :)

Missing Person Found

Just to let everyone know that they found him and he is in the hospital right now. Keep praying for the family as it still is going to be a while before he's back to normal and healthy again.

Seeking help locating missing person Jerry VanEgmond. Last seen at home early Monday morning February 5, 2007.
Possibly wearing blue winter coat, winter boots and blue jeans. Greying dark brown hair, medium build, 175 Ibs. and 5' 6" tall.
Heavy smoker. May have left the Niagara Region & be travelling. Could be in distress and possibly in need of medication.
Jerry's wife and 3 children would appreciate anyone who could provide any information.

Well had my ultrasound and everything is wonderful. Babies are great and healthy I feel so blessed and on cloud#9. Here is a pic of our babies.

Facebook has totaly taken over my life. Which isn't a bad thing...cause I've been reunited with friends from highschool and KLBC peeps and Niagara College people... but on the other hand it's like I'm always on it to find more people that I know and to see who comments on who's site. Soon this will wear off and I'll be on to the next site... or maybe not.

Matt and I did our baby registry yesterday. Fun times. No it really was. I laughed, he laughed, we all laughed. Then we went to the Pen Centre in St.Catharines and did some walking around and talking. Ahhhh good times good times. Matt has this new nickname for me: "little penguin" Which I think is my Indian name now. Oh you ask why he calls me that? It's cause I waddle like a penguin, yes I already waddle only 5 month pregnant and I look about 7 months or so. And the thing is I'm only gonna get BIGGER. Can't imgaine how large I'll get. I've been feeling lots of kicking and movement which is so amazing to feel. I feel so blessed.

Someday I will post pics of our honeymoon/one year anniversary trip. Don't hold your breath you might die, so just wait and maybe read a book or 2 or 3.

21 weeks

So we are back from our vacation and it was a blast and we can't wait to go back. I'll post pics some other time. But for now here is a pic of my 5 month belly...it's crazy big now.


So those are my babies. Everything is going well. I go for my 2nd ultrasound next week. Feeling Extra movement and kicking and it's so much fun. We have some baby things but nothing major yet. Need money for those things which we are saving for. Back to work tomorrow but don't know for how long. Write more later.

We just have to pack some more things and I'm just about to leave to do some last min laundry and then pack our little heads off. Well off I go now. 4 months

Here is a pic of my finally here baby belly. I am 4 months and it's so cool to start to feel them move I get kicked on one side and then the other. So fun to be pregnant with twins. Anywho here's the pic

Changes

Sometimes the thought of having twins overwhelms me with joy. When I tell most people that I am having twins, negativity seems to be the first thing that pops into people heads. And it makes me wondering, do these parents not like being parents? Cause I can't wait to meet these 2. I know it's going to be hard work, twice as hard with twins, but I still can't wait to have them and meet them. I think being a parent is the best thing anyone can ask for. They are apart of Matt and I. How crazy is that? God sure is amazing.

Well heading into my 4 month of pregnancy... it hasn't been enjoyable. I've been really sick and tired. I can handle the tired part but the being sick...all the time since I was 6 weeks pregnant, I've had enough. So I went on medication for pregnant woman for this reason. And let me tell you. I feel great now. I can eat whatever I like and not throw it up. I've lost 10lbs because I was so sick and not eating properly or much for the matter cause nothing seemed to stay down. But now, I can eat and eat and eat. I have some catching up to do. (wink wink)

Matt being the great hubby that he is, ordered some books about twins. I can't believe the difference between signal pregnancy and a twin pregnancy. I won't go into detail but they said be prepared to be on bed rest the last 3-4 weeks of your pregnancy. Which I knew being pregnant with twins you don't go the full 42 weeks. Mostly you will go around 32 weeks. Which means I can have these babies as early as the first week of April. But I'm gonna hold on to these 2 babies as long as I can. Anywho....

Other then baby talk all the time life is great and I still can't believe sometimes that I am having twins. Still not really showing too much. As this is my first pregnancy but just wait a few weeks I'm gonna be HUGE. :) And waddling like a duck...hehe. I have all my Christmas shopping done... it was really just my 2 nephews and niece. My family and I don't give presents anymore just stocking stuffers. Which is fine by me and saves Matt and I alot of money.
